This is her first year on the student media staff as a photographer. She has been in choir since 4th grade and is in the varsity choir this year. Her father is in a band as the lead singer and they play together often. She loves to tell stories through art or photography.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECTION. Junior Isaac Hernandez practicing his free stroke before their practice swim meet on Oct, 25. 2022 against spring. This is Hernandez’s second year in swim and he wants to continue to grow stronger and better for himself. I was never really good at sports until I joined swimming. And I felt like the team is not only as a family but the sport in general is about competing against yourself and basically just getting better and better. And I really enjoy swimming in the team and just competing against myself and not having to worry about others.

Green is one of the five JEA Rising Star award recipients for his dedication to teaching Journalism and has made success for at least five years. I had to spend a lot of time learning the teaching craft because I knew what I was talking about. But I would go really fast or I would use words that no one understood. So I really had to understand how to take what I knew about the journalism world and apply it to the teaching part. Then setting up an organization where the kids lead and run the organization. Kind of give up some of that control, but Im a perfectionist. So wanting to give up that controls heart.”

SAVE AMERICA. 45th U.S President, Donald J. Trump finally makes an entrance walking out to “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood on January 29th in Conroe at: Montgomery County Fairground. Roughly around 7:30 pm local time. The fans record on their phones in awe, with their hands reaching out in hopes that they can get a hat that the former president was throwing.

Band students practice in the cafeteria without masks before school starts on July 28 due to the construction occurring in the school’s parking lot and with less restrictions with Covid-19. Freshmen Addy Blanks said “We had to wear a face shield while playing, and every time we had to go over rhythms we had to have a facemask.”
