It was his last regular season game of his high school career and new he had had to help the team succeed. I always try my best to contribute to the team. Berrios said Theyre my family and I think everybody on the team does their best for us.

LAST ONE.Senior Eduardo Ortiz and Carlos Gonzalez are on the ground as the last whistle was blown to their playoff game against Macarthur High School in March. 23, 2023. This was the closing game to their high school run for all of the seniors in the team which brought a wave of emotions as they came short of taking the win. “There’s times where you’ll be faced with many downs but it’ll always matter more how hard you are able to come back up,” Gonzalez said. “I think that this team will and has to come back, I have hope for them.”

RUN DOWN. Junior Eric Chavelas runs and dribbles his way down the field to counter the opposing team and finish the play on February 24th. It was the second time they played against Cleveland and in order to keep their high positioning in the table they needed to maintain a goal difference and that is what they accomplished, I remembering getting the ball as we all ran down the field, Chavelas said, I just needed to finish off the play and we did.

Alexis was playing the second game against Conroe high to fight for second place in district, “It was round 2 and I just knew we couldn’t lose the game so there was no room for any mistakes.”
