How would other people describe you as a person?

Caring, smart, hard worker, and someone who doesn’t give up.

What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?

For fun I like to play video games and spend time with my family by going on walks to the park and shopping. I like doing this because it helps me to relax and detach from school.

What career do you want to pursue? Why?

I would like to pursue a career in the medical field, more specifically in general surgery or something similar to that. The reason is that I have always been interested in medical care and have always wanted to learn more about how our bodies work.

When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?

Some people expect me to be shy or awkward to talk to and others expect me to be mean, but once they get to know me they are surprised to see I’m a funny person to be around and really nice.

What’s on your phone background? Tell us why you chose that.

In my lock screen I have my little brother. I chose this picture because I rarely see him with my schedule being busy most of the time, so it makes me feel like he’s with me. For my home screen I have a random picture from somewhere in Japan. I have this because I love the pretty backgrounds of nature and also because I would love to visit Japan at least once.

Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.

I’ve been proud of many moments in my life but so far the most recent one would be achieving my goal of becoming a starter for the varsity soccer team, I worked so hard to make it happen and the work paid off.

Who is someone you are thankful for and why?

Someone I’m thankful for would be my family, especially my mom, because she is always there for me and always tries the impossible to make me happy.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

To never give up and to always keep your head up no matter what and to always work hard because it will pay off in the future.

What do you hope to be remembered for?

I would like to be remembered as a fun and nice person, someone who doesn’t give up and someone who can be a leader.

What’s on your bucket list?

My bucket list for this year would be to go out a lot during summer and to have fun, to graduate college and continue to pursue my passion and dreams.
