How would other people describe you?
Just quiet in general. I just mind my own business.
How and why did you start playing?
I started playing because all my friends and cousins used to play. And I was like “Why not?”
Describe how you prepare before a game.
I stretch, I go to the training room. I listen to music and just work on my body for injuries. I use the roller and massage.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
Hard working. I’m basically the captain of the team, people look up to me. I basically coach them.
Why do you say hardworking?
I work hard to get there. Freshman year I started as a starter but wasn’t that good. Sophomore year, I was a starter, too. Junior year I wasn’t supposed to make varsity, but I played in the spring League, and I played well. Coach said, “Keep playing like that, you’re going to have a spot on varsity”.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
We used to pray but stopped. I don’t know why.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
We won against Kerrville last year with our varsity tournament. Everybody was in a hotel room. We stayed overnight and it was a lot of fun.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Getting where I am today. When I was in eighth grade I really didn’t know how to dress. I work with my dad and I basically get whatever I want.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My dad. He showed me how to get money, how to be respectful and how to respect others and how to humble yourself. Don’t think you have too much.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
Work hard and listen to your coach. Work on your game in and out of school so you can be better.

How would other people describe you?
They would describe me as caring and fun.
How and why did you start playing? I started playing because nobody had stepped up to be a Goalkeeper when I was in 8th grade.
Describe how you prepare before a game. I like to be mentally prepared so if they were to put a goal on me I’ll focus to get back in the game, So I just prepare myself mentally before.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
I think my reputation is really good.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
I pray with my team.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
I don’t have a favorite memory in particular but if I were to choose I would say every time we score a goal.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I can’t think of a story at the moment but I’m most proud of myself because of how much I’ve grown over these years not only in the sport I play but also as a person.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m thankful for my mom because she’s always been there to support me and the coaches because they’ve always been there to push me.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
The advice I would give is Do not stop trying and commit yourself to it.

Hopefully we make it first in the district..

Just because I knew I was athletic so I just wanted to.

I usually just like to be alone. I listen to my music and stretch.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
I think I’m a pretty good athlete.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
Before a race I say a prayer and then after nothing really.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
Last year at the area meet me and my friends went to go get food at canes.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
My mother because she doesn’t laugh at me and she’s made a lot of sacrifices.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
Trust the process because you’re not gonna get better in a day.

How would other people describe you?
Very competitive, aggressive, outgoing.
How and why did you start playing?
I started playing soccer when I was three after I quit dancing and wanted to play soccer because my sister played it.
Describe how you prepare before a game.
I usually listen to music and just try and focus on my goals for the game.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
Very aggressive, brave to go into tackles, strategic, and a leader.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
Before the game i usually just clear my mind and try not to focus on anything besides the game i’m going into, during the game i just try and help my teammates along with myself try to find ways we can go and win the games, and after i try to think about the game and how it went and how to fix the mistakes i made during the game.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
When I was in Tampa for the Tampa Bay Super Cup and before the final me and my friend Avery and leila were singing the song “Love” by Keysha Cole to get pumped up, then when we won and went back to the car and we just kept singing that song over and over again bc we were so happy that we won.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
For never giving up, when I was younger I used to get told that I’d never make it anywhere in soccer, and I always used that as a fuel to push myself to do my best through all the ups and downs in my life.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
The person I’m most thankful for is my mom. She is my number one supporter and has always been there for me when I need her to be. She would drop everything for me and my brother and is also very supportive of me and everything I do and isn’t afraid to tell me when I make terrible decisions or when I’m just being annoying in general. She isn’t afraid to say the hard truth, and always tells me when I’m in the wrong. Even though me and my mom sometimes get on each other’s nerves, she is still my best friend and I don’t know what I’d do without her.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
To always do your best and give it your all because you never know what could happen.
What’s on your bucket list?
Going to college for soccer.
