Others would describe me as a talkative and outgoing person.
How and why did you start playing?
My brother introduced me to the sport when I was 11 years old.
Describe how you prepare before a game.
Before a match I warm up and get mentally prepared to go out and compete.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
I think my reputation as an athlete is a solid wrestler who can perform at a decently high level.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
I don’t really have any, but I just ask myself what makes my opponent better than me, what’s something they can do that I can’t.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
When the wrestler guys went to a camp in Nebraska, we had a good time and competed really well.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
When I got third at the Cy Ridge classic. It wasn’t a crazy tournament but it was a hard fought, I got 3rd place match.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
Coach Ferguson because he puts a lot of effort into making me a good wrestler.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
Make sure you have love for the sport.
When people get to know you, really get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn?
They are surprised to learn that I ran in cross country.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
My sports bucket list is to win a big tournament and go/place at state.
