How would other people describe you?
I think a lot of people would describe me as non-chalant, very laid back. I’m just very quiet. I don’t really open up to people like who I don’t really know too, but if you get to know me then I’ll either start getting to open up to you.
How and why did you start playing?
Because my parents just put me in it. The reason why I still play it is, I just really enjoy it. It kind of relieves my stress if I’m having a stressful day. It’s like I can always go back on the field and just always stress free love and enjoy the game.
Describe how you prepare before a game.
Normally I just don’t really think much of the game, kind of keep my head away from the game and just try to be as calm as possible. It usually helps, to be honest I just be on my phone just relaxing. Usually before, I would like to try to make scenarios before the game even happens and I feel like that’s what used to make me nervous before games.
What do you think your reputation is as an athlete?
I’m hard working, I don’t over do things, I just keep stuff simple like the little stuff. I always try to keep it very simple while playing.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
After the game, just going out to eat.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
My sophomore year playing Conroe at home as our second district game and we won four to two and it was just a really intense, crazy match a bunch of people were there. It was just a really crazy experience to be a part of. As both teams were rivals so there was just a bunch of people there and it just a really hyped match coming because we were both really good, and i guess we just had a lot of beef between each other before the game and there was a lot of fouls like when we would score it would just go crazy and it was bad, all the ap’s were there just cuz it was getting bad during the game and yeah physically.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
Kind of the person who I became, I think moving halfway through freshman year was very difficult at the time but now seeking back into it I think it was the best move for me and obviously I developed a lot as a person, personality wise.
Who is someone you are thankful for and why?
For my mom and dad, they just provide me with everything and sometimes I feel like I don’t show how grateful I am but deep down I’m very grateful. I appreciate them a lot. They took me to all of my games when I was younger, they’ve done everything for me so I’m just really really grateful for them.
What advice would you give to people that may want to play your sport?
Some advice that I would give is that as a player that tries to do everything simple I just advise to kind of learn about the game mentally because I feel like this game is a very mental sport. Also just playing very simplistic like just try not to over do everything cause I feel like when you stand out the most is when you are just good at something but being very simple at it.
When people get to know you, really get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn?
Probably how talkative I could probably get, when I feel like it.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
Finishing the sport I love with a good reputation.
