  • Grade: 11
  • School Activities: Choir, UIL Academics

How would other people describe you as a person?

Creative and I’m pretty ambitious, especially when it comes to academics. I’ve been pretty school oriented most of my life.

What do you do outside of school for fun? Why?

Keep scrolling to read more!

I like to crochet and I listen to a lot of music and I write short stories. I write about the souls of these two lovers that die and are reincarnated as different objects. I just do it on Google Docs but once I have enough, I was just gonna publish it on Amazon.

What career do you want to pursue? Why?

I want to become a child-life specialist, which is the people at childrens hospitals that do the activities for the kids in the hospital for a while to make it more bearable. I’ve always wanted to do psychology and that’s more of like a specific field in psychology.

When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you?

Most people see me as a math person, but they’re usually surprised that I write short stories.

What’s on your phone background? Tell us why you chose that.

My phone background is a drawing my friend did of me as the dog from the “Lady and the Tramp.”

Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.

I’m really proud that I made it into the varsity choir, you have to audition for it and I’ve made it in for two years now. I was in the all female varsity choir last year and I’m in the mixed varsity choir.

Who is someone you are thankful for and why?

I’m thankful for my mom because she lets me pursue a lot of what I enjoy and I’m also thankful for my boyfriend because he is very supportive as to what I do.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t be afraid to go after things because I never thought that I would make it for anything. But now, I like doing all this stuff and I don’t know why I was so scared to do it before.

What do you hope to be remembered for?

I kinda just wanna be a good person and I want to make and impact. I really want to help kids specifically, because I feel like I understand them more. A lot of people don’t really understand what kids need or want.

What’s on your bucket list?

I really want to go to Italy, northern Italy specifically. I want to get tattoos, I want to get more piercings on my face, and I want to get married in autumn.
