Kimberly Cruz is a reporter and the newspaper editor in chief. This is her second year on staff. She enjoys watching f1 races, football matches, sit-coms, and crime shows. She loves participating in art, loves listening to music, and collecting souvenirs.

Padgett is a volunteer firefighter two days a week, either after school or on weekends. “It’s been a fun experience so far,” Padgett said. “I can’t wait to graduate so I can go to the fire academy.”

YOU CAN’T BE ME. Petey the Panther poses on top of the New Caney Eagles after being knocked down for mimicking the panther roar on Aug 26. One of the skits in the pep rally was to mimic the bells in the school. Student dressed as the mascot from New Caney tries to roar like the panther. After he takes his shot, Petey knocks him down recognizing he is the only one fit for the roar.
