RUN UP. The Caney Creek High School Varsity football team running out for their entrance against Montgomery High School on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. The energy was high for the first home game of the new season and it started off good with the first quarter ending score being 7-7. Unfortunately it would be downhill from there, a gap between scores happened and kept widening, with the ending score of the game being a 33-58 loss.

IT HAS TO BE DONE. Senior Jaylyn Bruce doing Senior Alexa Arellano’s makeup for Fright Nights haunted hallway on Friday, Oct. 28. Bruce was making Arellano look old and dead for her section at the haunted hallway. Being a part of the cosmetology section the artist had to help create the makeup for actors. “I was very concentrated because I wanted to make it as good as I can, but it was sort of overwhelming because there were only four of us for the cosmetology group,” Burk said. “After that I tried enjoying my time as much as I could and I did have a great time.”

“HELLOOOO”. Senior Hope Parsons acts as the singing telegram girl on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023. Parsons walked through the door right after a “BAM" she got shot in a couple of seconds, “I am your singing telegram.” Those were her few words before her death. “It was supposed to be a laughing factor,” Parsons said.
