SPORTS RECAP 1/23-1/27: Powerlifting competes for the first time

Wrestling

On Wednesday the wrestling teams went to Kingwood, winning the dual. On Friday they wrestled in a quad meet, beating Houston Milby, but taking losses against Cypress Ranch, and Katy Paetow. The next time they will compete will be in their district meet at Willis on February 2nd.

Girls Soccer

Girls Soccer took on Conroe last Wednesday losing 1-0, and lost to Grand Oaks on Friday going 8-0. They will be playing Cleveland on Tuesday in a home game. On Friday they will take on College Park in an away district game.

Boys Soccer

Boys Soccer beat Conroe on Tuesday 2-0. They took on Grand Oaks on Friday losing 3-1. They will play at Cleveland on Tuesday, and at home against College Park on Friday.

Girls Basketball

The Girls Basketball team took on Cleveland on Wednesday and lost 46-40. On Saturday they lost to College Park 53-23. They will play again on Friday in an away game against Willis.

Boys Basketball

Last Wednesday Boys Basketball took on Cleveland in a losing effort going 63-51. They played College Park on Saturday, losing 82-30. On Friday they will take on Willis in a home district game.

Powerlifting

The powerlifting team went to Oak Ridge to compete in the first meet of the season. Joshua Henry, Alinne Flores, Ruby Sanchez, and Allison Godinez placed first in their respective weight classes. Their next competition will be Feb.4, 2023 at Conroe.
