SETTING THE TONE. Senior Yeiry Zamudio dabs up the entire varsity team before their game begins against Conroe High School on Jan. 09, 2026. Zamudio always gets the team hyped up before the game, and talks to them about what they need to bring for certain games to make sure they get the win. “To lead by example through hard work, accountability, and positive communication, and I make sure my teammates feel supported and motivated, whether we’re winning or losing,” Zamudio said.

She has been on staff for three years and is a member of the Varsity Girls Basketball team. She strives to balance academics and athletics while contributing positively to the school community.
