College Night soon

College Night is on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 at the Lone Star Convention Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

There will be over 100 colleges and military branches attending. There will be a Military Academy information and a “Preparing for a College Visit” pre-session for students interested. Students who plan on attending the College Night field trip, need to receive a permission slip from the CCC and turn it in by Oct. 3, 2023.  Pizza will be also be offered before the field trip.

Leslie Benitez is a reporter, she is in her second year being a part of Caney Creek student media. She has written stories for newspaper, web and yearbook and wishes to become a Journalist.  She has a weird obsession with Hello Kitty, she loves her dog coco, and enjoys listening to music.

Cristian Argueta, Photojournalist
Cristian Argueta is a photographer in Caney Creek Student Media. This will be his first year in the program. He enjoys taking pictures of Japanese cars outside of school, JDM cars are his favorite, and is very friendly.
