Bowling tryouts tomorrow

Focus on the pins. Sophomore Abby Cross bowls against Willis on Jan. 25, 2023. She throws her last bowling ball expecting it to be the last one she throws for the season but ends up making it in third place for regionals. “I enjoy bowling because me and my brother would come up here a lot,” Cross said. “He told me to make it into regionals so I put a lot of work into it and now we’re going to regionals.”

The bowling team will have tryouts at Time to Spare on Oct. 28, 2023 from 1-3 p.m.

Tryouts are for both the girls and boys team which consists of 5 players each. Students who are interested in joining are encouraged to come.

She is also a part of the all-state journalism staff, two time region qualifier in feature writing and district champion in news writing. Melissa Bonilla, Social Media Editor

Melissa Bonilla is the Social Media Editor at Caney Creek High School. She is in charge of every social media post for the Student Media and is also one of the photographers for the yearbook. She is in her second year as a photographer and she is also in her sixth year in choir as an alto. In choir she has gotten 1's and 2's in the choir UIL for the pass three years. She has also gotten A-B Honor Rolls for each year she's been in high school.
