Cosmetology salon open for hair trims

SNIP+IT.+Senior+Anette+De+Los+Santos+sections+off+hair+for+cosmetology+weekly+trim+on+Thursday%2C+Nov.+2%2C+2023.+Students+are+exposed+to+practices+to+help+them+prepare+for+Skills+USA+and+for+experience+in+cutting+aspect+of+cosmetology.+

SNIP IT. Senior Anette De Los Santos sections off hair for cosmetology weekly trim on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023. Students are exposed to practices to help them prepare for Skills USA and for experience in cutting aspect of cosmetology.

The cosmetology salon will be open every Thursday from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

To expand cosmetology students’ skills, they will be doing hair trims and cuts after school. Students looking for a free hair trim are welcome to come to the cosmetology salon. Hair trims are only 1 in. or less of hair. Clipper cuts are $2.50 for JROTC students only as well.

To pay, students must bring their receipt to clerk Dain Barron in the finance office.

Natalia Molina is the Executive Editor on Student Media, she oversees and manages all publications. This is her second year on staff! Molina is president of NEHS, an AP Ambassador and is involved in UIL Journalism, NHS and NTHS. She is also a part of the all-state journalism staff, two time region qualifier in feature writing and district champion in news writing.  Nat loves reading mystery and watching true crime as well as collecting stuffed animals. Margarita Rangel is Website editor-in-Chief and a photographer on Student Media. She has been on staff for three years now, apart from Student Media she's also a member of some honor societies. Secretary in NAHS, member of NHS, NTHS, StuCo, and Key Club. Rangel is also the Caney Creek intern for Conroe ISD sports photography.  Favorite colors that bring her joy are Cobalt blue and Seafoam green. Her favorite band is Three Days Grace and is in love with DPR Ian and LIVE. She loves Criminals Minds, Greys Anatomy and streaming thriller Documentaries, her favorite horror movies is Insidious the Last Key.  SHE ALSO VERY MUCH ENJOYS SPENDING HER TIME WITH LIZ AND NAT. (she also did everyone profiles so when you get the chance tell her good job even if she cant take the compliment..)
