CELEBRATING. When junior Kayleigh Herron got a point against Willis on Sep. 26, 2025 the rest of her team got in a tunnel form and Heather was waiting for her at the end to run through. “I felt really good because I was doing really bad so I wanted to get a point and feel better,” Herron said.

STRIKE. During the game against Willis on Sep. 26, 2025 junior Heather Galloway went to hit the ball and gave her team a point. “I thought I was going to do good, I thought I did okay,” Galloway said.

Jade Alvarez is a photojournalist. She takes pictures of sports and clubs. She is in her first year on staff as a photojournalist. She also plays basketball, and on the basketball team Jade is a shooting guard. Her basketball season starts in October. She also has three dogs at home.
