LOOK AHEAD: March Madness book competition begins, Dual Credit paperwork, SAT sign ups due, Student vs. Staff wristbands on sale now

The last day for juniors to sign up for the SAT is Friday, March 8, 2024. Students can sign up through the link posted on Naviance. Every student has one free SAT and is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

The Education For Tomorrow Association will be having a virtual job fair on March 26, 2024 for all juniors and seniors. At the virtual job fair, students will learn more about interviewing, job seeking, resume writing, etc. The sign up link can be found on Naviance or as listed: https://6bswagpt.paperform.co/.

EFTA also has a student internship program that is offered to juniors. These internships are geared to help students discover and experience a professional career ranging from healthcare, law, architecture, business, education and many more fields. The sign up link can be found on Naviance as well. Applications are due April 5, 2024.

The Library is now hosting it’s annual March Madness book competition, where students are able to vote for a winning book. Students can vote every Wednesday through the QR code on the hallway posters. Additionally, students can now pick up their 4th quarter library passes until March 29, 2024. Any lost passes will not be replaced after the date mentioned. Students can visit the book fair after Spring Break, during March 19-April 3, 2024. Book fair flyers are available during English classes Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Dual Credit paperwork is due Friday, March 8, 2024. All paperwork is to be returned to secretary Cynthia Pruitt in the Counseling center. For more questions visit Diane Hernandez in the College and Career Center.

Student vs. Staff Basketball game wristbands will be on sale from now until Friday, March 8, 2024. To buy one, students can visit the tables along the wall of the small cafeteria during all lunches. Wristbands are $3, but will be $5 on Friday.

All AP exam payments are due by noon tomorrow Friday, March 8, 2024. Any exams not paid for will not be ordered. For questions and more information, contact Karen Solberg in Room 3413.

Class officer applications can be found online using the QR code on the posters around school. The application is due March 22, 2024. For questions and more information, contact Tracy Underwood in Room 4309.

Students will have no school from March 11-March 15, 2024 for the Spring Break Holiday.
