Culinary Arts to Host Family Fun Event

Culinary Arts will be hosting a workshop to teach families how to make tamales on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. in Room 1301.

All materials and supplies will be given, the work shop will be charging $7 to help the organization fund the materials.

In preparation for the concert, Jahn would practice before school started, along with her percussion friends. “During the concert, I think we were all relaxed and just having fun,” Jahn said. “I mean, there was no real pressure, so we were all relaxed. I feel like we played really well. Ive learned that having an amazing group of people behind you helps you feel more confident in what youre about to perform.”

LITTLE ONES. Junior Niria Gaona sits down with a kindergartner to help out with arts and crafts on Dec. 2, 2023. Kids from the kindergarten got to spend time with the starlettes the day after its Winter Wonderland performance. “It was a really nice and amazing experience for me as a starlette because they get to learn new things,” Gaona said. “ I get to be a role model to them and sometimes they look up to us.”

Margarita Rangel is Website editor-in-Chief and a photographer on Student Media. She has been on staff for three years now, apart from Student Media she's also a member of some honor societies. Secretary in NAHS, member of NHS, NTHS, StuCo, and Key Club. Rangel is also the Caney Creek intern for Conroe ISD sports photography.  Favorite colors that bring her joy are Cobalt blue and Seafoam green. Her favorite band is Three Days Grace and is in love with DPR Ian and LIVE. She loves Criminals Minds, Greys Anatomy and streaming thriller Documentaries, her favorite horror movies is Insidious the Last Key.  SHE ALSO VERY MUCH ENJOYS SPENDING HER TIME WITH LIZ AND NAT. (she also did everyone profiles so when you get the chance tell her good job even if she cant take the compliment..)
