How would other people describe you as an athlete?
Hardworking.
How and why did you start playing?
Honestly, I just joined for fun at first and over time I learned to love and play the sport.
Describe how you prepare before a game/tournament.
I just get mentally prepared, know to not underestimate the other team, and have a good mindset.
For people that have never play your sport, what do you think the average person gets wrong about it?
That it’s hard or that it’s boring. A lot of people say it’s boring just running for 90 minutes, but honestly, it’s fun when you get on the field.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
I take naps before every game.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
I would say last year during warmups. I had a senior friend and we would always just have a good time.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I would say scoring the winning goal against New Caney last year was my proudest moment.
As an athlete, who is someone you are thankful for and why?
One of my old coaches, I’m thankful for her. She pushed me a lot to be a better player.
What advice would you give to your younger self when you began playing?
Just keep working hard and you’ll get somewhere.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
Making it to playoffs definitely
