How would other people describe you as an athlete?

I believe other people view me as a hard working determined athlete

How and why did you start playing?

Keep scrolling to read more!

I started playing water polo and golf because my dad introduced me to it when I was 4 years old.

Describe how you prepare before a game/tournament.

As a team we do a prayer before we start. Before I go in I text my dad and ask him if there’s anything else I can do to help me in the game.

For people that have never play your sport, what do you think the average person gets wrong about it?

They usually believe it’s lame or for people that aren’t as athletic as others. Yet, you gain abilities that help you in all other sports

What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?

I don’t have anything I do before games usually but I will occasionally help lead a prayer to keep us all safe.

Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.

My favorite memory is when we went to buffalo wild wings before a game and had a wing eating contest, I won.

Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.

I’m most proud of the first day of practice my freshman year when I taught the basics of water polo.

As an athlete, who is someone you are thankful for and why?

I’m thankful for coach Day, he always hyped me up so I can be the best athlete I can be. He’s helped me grow a lot in my sport and I’m very happy that he’s been able to coach me this year.

What advice would you give to your younger self when you began playing? T

If I had a chance to tell my younger self something it would be that making mistakes is ok and it all comes together with time. You just have to believe in yourself and try your hardest no matter what is happening.

What’s on your sports bucket list?

The one thing I want to complete on my sports bucket list is getting a hole in one in golf.
