RUN UP. The Caney Creek High School Varsity football team running out for their entrance against Montgomery High School on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. The energy was high for the first home game of the new season and it started off good with the first quarter ending score being 7-7. Unfortunately it would be downhill from there, a gap between scores happened and kept widening, with the ending score of the game being a 33-58 loss.

Bookman started her deadlift with her first attempt being 160 lbs then proceeding to 200 lbs and 232 lbs at the end. “To be honest, I could have gone higher but stayed low,” Bookman said. “Going forward I need to keep pushing, you know, step out and do something.”
