How would other people describe you as an athlete?
Fast and explosive.
How and why did you start playing?
My Grandpa introduced me to the sport when I was just 5 years old and since then I have been playing.
Describe how you prepare before a game/tournament.
I sleep good and eat a healthy meal.
For people that have never play your sport, what do you think the average person gets wrong about it?
The injuries, most people think we flop and fake it but we don’t.
What personal superstitions or traditions do you have before, during or after a game?
I try to imagine the game in my head before actually playing it.
Tell us about your favorite memory as an athlete either on or off the field.
Making playoffs my freshman year on the varsity team, coming back from COVID.
Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.
I’m proud of myself for being better than how I was before. I just got into the mindset and trained all summer to be a better athlete
As an athlete, who is someone you are thankful for and why?
I’m thankful for my mom, she’s always supporting me and helping me with my sport.
What advice would you give to your younger self when you began playing?
Start training more and take time more seriously.
What’s on your sports bucket list?
Making it more far in playoffs.
