Sebastian Montesinos is one of the three Photo Editors for Caney Creek High School. This is his second year on the Student Media team and his first as a photo editor. He is also a part of the Mighty Panther Band and is also a section leader in the organization. He's been presented with many academic awards and some of his photos have also won awards. He loves to watch sports especially football (soccer) and loves to hang out with Ezri Luna and Danny Noyola.

Senior Christian Claros Celebrates his goal after a first competitive half against the New Caney eagles.The Caney Creek soccer team ended their first round of games of the season.“We started off slow and I think that is what gave us the unexpected result we wanted,” Claros said.“We are going to move on forward and make the playoffs our goal.”

Benitez went on to assist senior Christian Claros in the final minutes of the game to win 2-1. “The second half something just switched and we were dominating instead of them,” Benitez said. “I know our strikers like to play against the last man back so I knew where to kick the ball and assisted Claros."

Villegas was eventually be pulled out due to an elbow injury. “ I was playing good until the 3rd inning I threw a pitch that made my elbow numb and then the pain kicked in” Villegas said. “ I tried to stay in the game but with the pain I kept throwing balls and the coach pulled me”.
