Sebastian Montesinos is one of the three Photo Editors for Caney Creek High School. This is his second year on the Student Media team and his first as a photo editor. He is also a part of the Mighty Panther Band and is also a section leader in the organization. He's been presented with many academic awards and some of his photos have also won awards. He loves to watch sports especially football (soccer) and loves to hang out with Ezri Luna and Danny Noyola.

Benitez went on to assist senior Christian Claros in the final minutes of the game to win 2-1. “The second half something just switched and we were dominating instead of them,” Benitez said. “I know our strikers like to play against the last man back so I knew where to kick the ball and assisted Claros.

STRIKE! Senior Marc Villegas throws a strike during the Panthers duel against the Eastlake Falcons during the tournament hosted at school on March 3, 2023. Villegas was eventually be pulled out due to an elbow injury. “ I was playing good until the 3rd inning I threw a pitch that made my elbow numb and then the pain kicked in” Villegas said. “ I tried to stay in the game but with the pain I kept throwing balls and the coach pulled me”.

Sommer went on to hit the first Home Run of the season for the Panthers to tie the game. It feels really good to be honest its a really enlightening moment Sommer said. The coaches right before the game were talking about how nobody has hit a home run in forever.
